Last week was interesting. Sam is really starting to talk different. Feel like he’s starting to “get it”. Max, tried reaching to the ceiling to show me he’s just “a little big”. Tuesday, Terri, took the boys to the Atlantis water park in Centreville. I met them after work… and the earthquake. Scared the crap out of me. The whole building here shook. I would’ve dove under a desk should it have gone on any longer. Terri, was in the pool – they didn’t feel it.
The weekend brought Hurricane Irene. The Cooks were evacuated from OC and stayed with us Friday & Sat. We lost power from 11:30 Sat. night til Mon. about noon. That was pretty lame. And our hot shot new air conditioner went on the fritz and the house went up to 80 during the storm. Good stuff.
Should be going to the State Fair tonight. Showed the kids the Ridemania video from last year. They’re excited. Me too.
