Sam: I don’t know.
Mom: Sam, which center?
Sam: Fine motor
Mom: Oh that sounds fun. Did any of your friends do fine motor with you?
Sam: No it was just me.
Max: (with so much concern in a little baby voice) Why was it just you Sam?
Sam: I don’t know.
Max: Didn’t you like your friends Sam?
Sam: —
Max: Sam, didn’t you want your friends to do it too?
Sam: Yes.
